- Make it the right height. Standing desks are typically 40-44" high, but to get the best fit for you, measure from the ground to your elbow.
- Anchor it. The taller something is, the easier it can tip over. A standing desk should be anchored to the wall (we like these), especially if you have kids in the house!
- Ease into it. Not used to a standing work station? Don't ditch your standard desk just yet. You might need to go back and forth for a while while you adjust.
- Don't just stand there. Standing still all day isn't a whole lot better than sitting still all day. Use this chance to move your legs, stretch your calves, and move around.
