You're looking at plywood, but I suppose if it's 1.5" x 3.5" you could use it as a 2x4. Plywood will be more expensive than pre-cut boards.
6. The board seems to be the right size, but it crumbles in my hand. Is it a 2x4?7. This board tastes delicious! Is it a 2x4?
8. This one is the right size, but it's gray and shiny. Is it a 2x4?
YES. But it's a steel 2x4. They're expensive and not as easy to work with, so just go with wood.
9. I gathered up all my extra sawdust, added glue, and put it in a 2x4-sized mold. Is it a 2x4?10. There are little green things growing off of this board. Is it a 2x4?
