First up for grabs is one of the brand new large totes my sister & I are making for our online store Twice is Nice!  (I'm also giving away a copy of I am So Cute Dresses here, and my mom is giving away another Twice is Nice bag here). But wait, there's more The bow comes off to double as a light scarf! This is absolutely my new favorite pattern and I can wait to get these stocked tonight.

  10. Our kids, who are all grown now, still come to our room on Christmas morning to wake us up before going to the tree. We go to the parlor, close the doors, and are set to snap photos when they come through the doors to see what Santa left. Really fun now that the youngest two wait until their sister gets there with her hubby and children to see what Santa brought everyone.

  27. I don't have children, but I do have a younger sister with Down Syndrome. Her birthday is Christmas Eve, so my favorite tradition is to do something outrageous and special for her birthday. Some years, we catch the train to Chicago and take in a musical. Other years, I have surprised her with trips to the ballet or sporting events. It's always a challenge to find something new and exciting to do with her in a way that makes her birthday special during the holidays. c_biswell at yahoo dot com

  78. We do family stories. Every night after baths and before bed, the kids pick a Christmas story and we all pile into our bed, snuggle under a quilt and the hubs and I take turns reading aloud. This year, Wick, our elf on the shelf, wrapped all the kids books to make it more fun and random with regards to the selection. Although, we always save Night Before Christmas for last...

My son (28 now) was the only one of the clan who could come home this year, and when he got here he said, "When are we gonna watch White Christmas?" I love that he sings the songs along with the movie and knows most of the dialog by heart.
