A Tiny Little Announcement

Well, not so tiny. More like a solid 8 pounds of announcement...

Baby boy #2 has joined the family!

Just hours old...

Born at home on an early Saturday morning, weighing in at a whopping 8 lbs 12 oz, and 22 inches long (that's more than a pound heavier and 2 inches longer than B was!). We'll call him Baby A. :)

B slept through the whole thing and was so excited to wake up to a surprise brother!

He loves those tiny fingers and toes.

This is his sign for nail clippers. He thinks baby's nails need clipping. :)

And he always makes sure Baby A has a toy.

"Eyes. Open." B keeps us updated on his eye status.

Tiny toes... on big long feet!

We caught a big smile! He had just opened his eyes and saw B.

Random side story - we bought a recliner for better baby rocking and The Daddy cut a door in the box to make "iddle ouse" for B. It's his favorite thing. Especially once The Daddy pulled out a flashlight.

His balloon has to be in the house too.

After he went to bed I peeked in at his funny little set-up. Flashlight, pillow, balloon, sippy, and ping pong paddles. Boy's got it made.

So... I tried to get some posts scheduled ahead of time but they're all used up already (preparation fail) so please bear with me as I'm sure I won't be posting as often for a bit while we find our new groove as a family of four. :) Happy Tuesday!
