Foraged Stick Stars

This Christmas project is almost too easy to post. But it's a fun one that's super simple and cheap, plus collecting the sticks can be a lot of fun with the kids!

You'll need:

  • thin sticks
  • hot glue
  • string or yarn
Snap or cut the sticks to make five pieces all roughly the same length. Lay the sticks out in a star shape and use a dot of hot glue to attach them at each corner and anywhere the sticks cross. Add a loop of string or yarn to hang.

That's it! you can hang them individually like ornaments, string several together to make a garland, or lay them along the table to create a centerpiece.

Have fun, and remember that wonky stars are okay - the memories you are making with your kids are far more important!
